She has worked in stage, film, and recording studios all over the country. She now lives in New York City.

“Students will explore Shakespeare’s text through their own experience and physicality and discover the joy in delving into these plays,” according to Ms. Hayes.

“We are excited to be able to present Amy Hayes in our growing educational program,” Eric Peterson, Oldcastle’s Producing Artistic Director said. “Amy has vast experience and watching her build her character in rehearsals of “Broadway Bound” has demonstrated how strongly she understands the craft of acting. She is also great fun to be around so those lucky enough to take the class will have a ball. This is a one- time workshop but we hope to repeat it in the future and maybe even get Amy to teach on a regular basis.”
