Christine Decker has more than 35 years of experience as a professional actress and teacher. This season she was Fräulein Schneider in the critically acclaimed Cabaret. Last season at Oldcastle she appeared in the title role of Stephen Pouliot’s Grandma Moses: An American Primitive and directed The Fox on the Fairway. Ms. Decker spent 19 years with Disney World’s Comedy Warehouse as a member of their famed improv group. She has acted with American Stage in St. Petersburg in such roles as Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and Sister Aloysius in Doubt. She has acted with the Theatre Company at Hubbard Hall in her native Cambridge, New York in the one-woman play, Shirley Valentine and as The Madwoman of Chaillot. She received training in improvisation and sketch comedy writing at Dudley Riggs’ Brave New Workshop in Minneapolis after majoring in theatre at Bard College.
